"There's Nothing More Whole Than a Broken Heart"
There is a Yiddish saying, "There is nothing more whole than a broken heart..." When you are courageous enough to allow your heart to be vulnerable, you will receive the bounty of life in return. Yes, there will be heartache, but there will be true living of life, riches beyond any king’s dreams: love, laughter, the sweetness of a baby's smile, the treasure of friends truly cherished, beauty in each new waking day. These are worth their weight in gold. Do not fear the broken heart, embrace it, for it has lived a life full beyond comprehension and it will continue to flower and bestow its beauty on those it passes along the way. What better gift can we ever give than to openly welcome each heart that reaches out to us? We heal each other when we love each other.
